Dear CAPhO Colleagues,

On behalf of our Expert Steering Committee of Oncology Pharmacists - Scott Edwards, Flay Charbonneau, Glenn Myers and Tina Crosbie, I’m writing to let you know about an exciting new virtual program we have developed for pharmacists looking to broaden their knowledge on the fundamentals of oncology, called the ABC program (Addressing the Basics in Cancer). ABC is ideally suited to new pharmacist practitioners, but is also open to pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, assistants, students or other healthcare professionals looking for additional oncology education.

The program is scheduled to commence mid October and will run for 10 weeks, each Wednesday from 7.00pm -8.30pm EST. Further details, on the ABC program, including the curriculum overview, are included in the attached program flyer.

We’re reaching out to pharmacy and oncology associations across the country to support us in creating awareness of this important national program and we would like to ask if you could disseminate the pdf flyer to your members.

Don’t hesitate to let us know if you require any additional information on the program. You can email for further details if required.

Your support in spreading the word on the ABC program would be greatly appreciated

Kind regards

ABC Steering Committee (Scott Edwards, Flay Charbonneau, Tina Crosbie, and Glenn Myers)
